This could also be why I don't believe some of the people who act like they only want to see the positive side are very good for society.
You get the impression they have chosen to have no feelings for the ones who are still laboring to make their lives more comfortable, and it's scary, like Nazi wives might have done that, like there's 'Zone of Interest" kind of dynamics happening. Did you even study the civil rights movement in school?
However...
I guess if they are doing it just to fit in and not be noticed by the "negative forces" and they feel they must do that in order to survive...I guess I could understand how that's a survival strategy for them, for a while.
Also, this driver probably noticed that Trump does make a lot of jokes...

One of those who just keeps making so many jokes and getting people go along with stuff, giving them permission to be smaller people...Creepy.
