Even if some people don't want to believe I have had some of the experiences I had, it's not an excuse for the other random acts of sexism and racism they're continually perpetuating in their everyday lives.
As for my opinion on my own experiences...
Yeah, for me, I know those experiences actually happened.
Dude, I don't care if you don't believe me. It doesn't matter that much to me.
There's actually other much more important things to care about then you believing a weird story I've had happen to me.
Like, how about you just get much better at restoring some of your own empathy and your own humanity?
That would be good for you and your health.
Acting like only the unwell men were the legitimate veterans is just so false and unpatriotic.
What about all the other kinds of veterans?
Why do you have to unsee all kinds of people in order to have a "good life?"
It doesn't look that good.
It could be much better. It could be so much better.
