When you act that way because you got a message like that's what your old great grand ancestors would have wanted: for you to be so greedy, racist, chauvinistic, exclusionary, and uncaring, so that acting like no one matters except for whoever caters to the ego-centric pampered small-minded people who continue the unethical cycle of prejudice and exploitation, and that seems to you to be the "right way" of doing things.
