Sexist people in show business and the other people who put them on pedestals have that Big Abusive Patriarchal Trump Worshipping Energy even if they and their friends think of themselves as liberals.
They are like Peter the Pumpkin Eater and they are addicted to locking away their better selves in pumpkin shells.
(The nursery rhyme says Peter locked away his wife in a pumpkin shell.)
They have mutilated themselves just so they could feel comfy enough with dehumanizing other people to fit in with their Cult Following Abusive Patriarchy Worshipping Peers, and it's sickening to see it.
