The dream was about what some people still normalize

The coldness and indifference to others, grafted onto a more comfortable way of life in modern day America.

It really has depressed me that the Patriarchy has trained whole generations to be insensitive assholes and conveniently look away just to protect themselves and celebrate a supposedly superior way of life and use a toxic form of "positivity" as a way to shut out others.

Insensitivity and self-absorption is not a superior way of life.

Saying it's worse somewhere else in the world is also not an excuse.

Look at the people who pick your food in this country, too.

Look at what's happening to girls and women in this country, too.

The dream was just about being expected to move in somewhere others had been forced out and not being able to do it and crying.
