I think it's really weird if your insecure dad comes back as an illegitimate child in his next life and when someone like a mom in a different kind of body tries to be really, really, extra nice to him at the expense of others he'll be like "No! I was such a mean, self-absorbed, insecure, sociopathic rich guy! I need to learn about other kinds of people now!" And then all kinds of things start happening. Like planting gardens and meditating. Or other, even crazier kinds of activities! What could they be?
