A dream that happened in part because of a poem?

I was in a new place, like a college campus I hadn't been to before with a space for outdoor musical performances and some musical guys were there practicing their instruments and they didn't mind an audience. I wanted to hang out there and listen and take pictures but a guy who was my husband said "Ready to go?" expectantly and since he was the reason I was there I left and then we ran into an academic woman I know but she was in a hurry and didn't want to talk. She said, "You're making me late!" But she also drew a pair of lips on her wrist and acted like she was blowing a kiss to me, so I said "We'll talk another time." The interaction made me think of sweet cream filling inside of a pastry and I woke up asking myself why, and then the part of this long poem where the poet talks about "sweetcream" came back to me:

"About Music For Bone And
Membrane Instrument =="
