On one hand...
You know that discounting others in order to gain some materialistic things or to get groups of patriarchal people to approve of certain behavior patterns is a routine that some people have gotten sucked into repeating. That can be pretty depressing to witness when you know that those are also people who used to be more inclined to make kinder and more conscientious kinds of choices.
On the other hand...
A lot of people do seem to know that they were not put on this Earth just to cater to unwell people who seem addicted to repeating old, abusive dynamics. Realizing that those are the kinds of people who can inspire you to be out in the world and working on new creative projects can help you to remember that life can be good and it can become more fun again.
