Besides money and houses and acceptance from other smaller minded people

Why do some people have the compulsive habit of treating women & girls with health challenges so much worse than everyone else? I have decided to include trauma from sexual harassment or assault as one of those "health challenges," by the way. What do they get out of going along with the bigotry?
