He says he experienced some anti-semitism before the invasion, but never took it "extremely seriously," and describes an anti-semitic decree that happened before the Nazis came. There was a more ritualistic & humane way to slaughter an animal that was practiced, but it became forbidden by law. He says he thinks their tradition is also similar to Native American tradition.
