Although the unhealthy, spiteful patriarchal programs have had their sneaky ways of infiltrating our lives, at least some people are still not quite as clueless & insensitive as Terry's OBGYN or father is, which is good, because patriarchal programming can make doctors and parents SO vile to their very own patients and daughters.
