They're out there. They listen, and they notice things. They see that some people appear to be more wired for empathy than others. And while acting defensively after behaving irresponsibly is not an uncommon human trait, that's not necessarily the first choice for the more empathetic listeners on this planet, because...that's not how they're wired, for some reason?
