Sometimes I feel like I'd rather see the people who got favored by the patriarchy just go golf and navel gaze with their flavor-of-the-month friends rather than make their life be about how their version of "having fun" is synonymous with "cultural contribution to coping with the patriarchy by repeating patterns of diminishing people who survived and/or continue to deal with patriarchal violence / oppression."
