Toys, money, sun, girls...

"Six months later, one of his house-inflected children’s songs – inspired, he said, by Belgian nightclubs – was still tormenting me: 'All I see are colours, colours all around. All I see are colours, colours when I bounce. BOUNCE!'"

~ Alex Blasdell

https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2022/nov/24/have-toys-got-too-brainy-how-playthings-became-teaching-aids-young-children

“'They’ve got all the money in this booming industrial town, and one year they got a dollhouse,' Bensch continued, evoking a snowy New England yuletide from a bygone era. “But in ensuing years, they would get an orange, a book, a piece of dollhouse furniture. They didn’t get the whole onslaught of goods that any child expects to receive for birthdays and holidays today – or that a parent thinks, ‘I’m being delinquent if I don’t give them everything under the sun.’

There was something jewel-like in the beauty and simplicity of this story: a single dollhouse, in an uncluttered room, cherished and filled, wardrobe by tiny painted wardrobe, over the course of many years. I wanted for my son some of the frugality, some of the quietude, that must have been shared by those two girls.

But then again, they grew up in another world."

I guess they would know.

Well. Another learning experience.

Seeing this made me think, would it help if patriarchal people cultivated a habit to simply be more curious about the lives of others? Or themselves, even.

Won't that be a good day for humanity

When the non-billionaires who have also been routinely uncaring and putting abusive rich guys on pedestals at the expense of others throughout their lives start learning how to treat people better by acting with more honesty and compassion and integrity.

And something is still asking for help

How to feel better. How to know your friend needs healing. How to know her child needs healing. How to find healing from a wiser source...

What if there were more people pooling together resouces for assisting with healing

How to heal from any domestic violence that may have been in your environment as a child. How to find the best therapy. How to release trauma. How to heal from pain. How to let go of that which no longer serves...

It's a part of the process sometimes

Staying away from untrustworthy people whose unresolved and unhealed patterns maybe make money for them, but also make the world unfortunately worse for a lot of people they are always trying very hard to forget about. Perhaps there will come a time when some of those issues will be more healed, and things will be much better at some point in the near future...

What can be healed next?

The trauma from loosing A LOT because of violence.

Perhaps the Universe is suggesting that redistributing funds would help humanity

And do you know what happened to that toad?

There was the toad who should have dressed all the other toads in better dresses, too.

It could be something.

I have an idea. Let's make lady #1, who reeeeally likes boys, and lady #2, who does sometimes, but at other times not quite so much, work together and also be civil to one another.

I will warm up an apple pastry now.

If you keep acting like something is wrong, then I suppose it must mean that something really is wrong! Whatever is to be done about it?

Who comes out to say such a thing?

Deep, Deeeeep down...I...love...HEALING.

Please Help Humanity Get Back Into Healing, Higher Guidance

A girl in the bathroom stall was coughing a lot yesterday. I've had strange dreams that say not go to something tonight. I will pay attention to my body. I will do better.

What if they did this here?

Rest can be healing. I need a break. Because sometimes, when I feel or perceive a contrast between what people could choose to do, and what they keep on doing, it is hard on the body and psyche for various reasons.

I'll let my body go back to R & R

"You can eat your hotdogs or salads or pies with the folks who aren't gonna get sucked into needlessly degrading themselves and others in order to fit into a system that's plainly hurtful to a lot of people."

Insensitive Patriarchy breaksy achesy heartsy every daisy

Nevertheless, who might be the next human being to begin resurrecting a much healthier persona before transitioning into new and exciting circumstances?

Also, why not move on from the Slimfast model

"I'll degrade myself and others for breakfast, and also for lunch, and then I'll have a sensible dinner."

Message from the Universe

I seem to see a young person off by himself and feeling separated and different from other people at school. Maybe he was near some grass and trees.

He could have had vulnerable, shy, alone moments which filled him with loneliness and a desperate wish to be liked or accepted by others, but those moments could have also had more meaningful messages to teach him about something bigger.

Maybe a man who seems mean because he was encircled by forces which encouraged him to act that way, or apt to go along with the unfair punitive system sometimes, could remember and be inspired to change soon.

Words that sound good together.

Getting rewarded for / with / by...?

How did certain humans of that era get convinced that dehumanizing others was a great way to use their time on this planet?

Healthy and healing sounds good...for real.

Everyone's life is different. Mine still needs to be more focused on being able to heal on multiple levels.  It almost seems like a necessity, yes, more than a mere choice. Why is this not easier yet? HEAL, LEARN TO HEAL. Okay, yes ma'am, sorry if we goof it up a lot. You can ask the universe to send us some wiser ones to help us be better about it.

What if it even feels good and healthy to do so.

Don't you ever want to take the opportunity to just be better to some people for a change?

Well, maybe will have to watch both of these sometime soon.

Why don't the rich in this era get some hypnotherapy?

When a toady old lord "appears" and then things just go black. What is that about. Would a talented hypnotherapist shed some light on that for those people?

Sometimes I just re-remind myself.

I was way less crotchety in the younger years. Wow. It's really AstonishingAct~ugly.

What about creating a much better environment?

Well, the ones who courted the favor of the patriarchal system found it hard to break their habits of abusing the ones who were the most impacted ~ the less materialistically wealthy women and girls ~ not only because they were deeply insecure, but to appease the needs of the domineering colonizers inside of themselves. I guess. Maybe?

Actually I think the violent guys should have gone to rehab

Instead of Grandma? But have you noticed how expensive it was for men?

What was the best part of Rehab from Coddling Violence in Men?

"Well maybe it was when we realized that treating poor women and girls worse than everyone else was really bad for us too."

When wealthiest Grandma got sober

"After two years of rehab, I finally believed that violent men were not the most important human beings on the planet."

Would it be better for rich, poor, or middle people to explain

Why violent men feel entitled to treat themselves and others so very poorly?

Nope.

"At least they treat us better than most of you." ~ ~ Certain friends and fans of violence

But perhaps not, actually.

Perhaps you would like to be a violent man with lots of people making excuses for him in your next life.

Rape Culture is also SO bad...

"Why did the grandparents' friends pretend otherwise? Oh well, they also worshipped money and didn't act like the environment was worth considering most of the time. SIGH!"

It's just a depressed by the sycophants feeling again but it should pass

Unhealthy for lots of different kinds of grandchildren: "There's no WAY we'd ever suck up to these violent people if they were born in other kinds of bodies and didn't have a lot of money to make it worth our while" very greedy vibes.

It can happen...maybe even be fun...

Asking for help from higher wiser guidance sources which can help us see more and know how to help us heal from the old patterns and collective wounds.

Another Healthy Option

"MÄN has worked for several years to draw attention to the connection between masculinity norms and the climate crisis. Many men are concerned about climate change, but research also shows that as a group, men have a negative effect on the environment to a greater extent than women. More men than women also deny environmental problems and climate threats, or even actively work against people (often women and girls) and organisations that are trying to do something about the situation."

Pity? Disgust? Compassion? Day-Old Danish Pastry?

Everytime a woman of any social class gets degraded by the patriarchy, a real person's thousand dollar handbag donation to the foodbank ooozes...

Two Things that seem better to think about

Nature & Some Higher Guidance that Has Marvelous Healing Capabilities.

I feel sorry about needing to give up on a different way

People will do a lot to others just to get some approval from society, but it might just be because of some very deep and painful insecurities.

If society seems determined to reveal a lot, is it so people can heal?

It sometimes seems better to stay away from those who cannot be inspired to heal themselves much more quickly.

Suffering men who mistreat others are casualties of such unhealthy patriarchal habits

It is also a form of suffering, to needlessly be compelled to inflict degrading circumstances on people who deserve so much better.

That is why all our work is rooted in a feminist perspective. We cooperate closely with the women’s movement. Anything interesting you've noticed recently?

They remind me of how "normal" genocidal people probably felt about what they were doing, the addicted-to-violence people do, and those who make excuses for their violence do as well.

What's their valid reason for exacerbating inequity in any situation?

Hey, Frightened Dude

Do you ever believe you also deserved better than what the abusive, frightened patriarchal people were offering you?

Hey, Unsafe Dude

This is a truly tiresome habit of yours:

"My Fallback of Exploiting Actual Human Beings is why I can tell myself everyone is okay with my unsafe, abusive behavior. Because that's exactly what the patriarchy trained masses of people to expect from dudes like me."

Did You Take The Time To Pray For Humanity Today?

Because Big Rape Culture Vibes and certain very compliant women displaying "Yes, I definitely was trained to accept this violence from certain dudes more than the existence of everyone else on this entire planet" is an ongoing phenomenon, even after the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

And those abusive dudes who display a flagrant disregard for others' life experiences could never be quite so entitled to do so without the others who support their dehumanizing ways.

Oh to be gooder at it

I really should let the spiritual aspect of life take over. NOT TO ELIMINATE THE PHYSICAL, MENTAL, EMOTIONAL ASPECTS. But simply to heal from trauma and enjoy everything a lot more.

It could be the only way,  honestly.

Sigh. Time. Goes & Comes Back Again.

The "they lived and loved centuries ago" people are around more than ever and are getting back into things like drawing and loving nature again.

Maybe this time they can also be like "Oooo, feminism. That sounds like fun!"

Hurtfully, they just wanted minions

The "we keep on pretending we're better than that one dude, and yet we also still keep aligning our behaviors with rape culture and racist habits so much, even to the extent that we won't look all that much better than he was" illness has yet to run its full course, because...???

Away from the food bank

The rich who again and again creatively pretended they benefited so much when patriarchal misogyny raped the culture began planning their charitable donations.

Imagine receiving that message early on?

"Now, in terms of the 'get over it' and resilience aspect, there’s a beautiful story, or truth, that my friend, Dr. Lewis Mehl-Madrone, who has a Lakota Sioux background, a psychiatrist and physician — and Lewis Mehl-Madrone told me — and he’s an author, as well. And he told me that in the Lakota tradition, when somebody gets ill, the community says, 'Thank you. Your illness represents some dysfunction in our whole community, because we are not separate. Your body is not separate from your mind, and your mind is not separate from the rest of our minds. We co-create each other. So your illness represents some dysfunction, some imbalance in our whole community. So your healing is our healing. How can we support you?'”

Different people, different traumas?

"And in our society, psychological woundedness is very prevalent, and it’s rather an illusion to believe some people are traumatized and others are not. I think there’s a spectrum of trauma that crosses all layers and all segments of society. Naturally, it falls heavier on certain sections — on people of color, people with genders that are not fully accepted by society, people of economic inequality who suffer more from inequality — but the traumatization is pretty general in our culture."

Mixed Blessing Day

I see that adopting a greedy and selfish mentality that would make me ignore so much about the earth to coddle the dudes who seem to say "rape culture that was good enough for me should be good enough for everybody else too" is practically impossible, and even acknowledging that dynamic exists feels necessary, but it also feels like it's been extremely hurtful to many people, and it just would be really unhealthy and the wrong path for me to take, in this life with this kind of body, and with certain life experiences.

What's getting shown to us now

I am glad I was able to shower and release some heavy feelings that came up. Blessed. It's pretty hard. This is stuff from years ago. Crying inside stuff. To medicate or use other ways stuff. I can feel it again. Bless these wounded feelings, bless you for showing me where we can begin to be more healing. I believe we can learn to get better at loving and embracing these wounded crying younger ones inside of us and this will heal a lot more about our wounded selves than we were told...That's how it feels tonight, after letting waves ebb out while standing in the shower...seeing what appeared to be the light from the energy change and grow brighter around my line of vision and then disappear as the waves were coming up and passing through...I better sleep soon...that would be good.

I think I am only here to learn more about how to heal or feel healing

Because when the headache and emotional state says there is so much that can accidentally set a person off course, you are compelled to find the truest reason for being here now...heal from the headache and everything else...so many stories. But why? Healing is most important thing to do now. And it could be HELPED ALONG WITH SO MANY THINGS, so do we say, thank you, for anything that helps, it was buried deeply and it's coming up now so we can get a chance to heal it again and we can be better at healing it this time? That's a better way to frame it, isn't it?

God I thank you for blessings

I get to live with one who went shopping for us.  He's more advanced than me right now. I have been in pain. Help me become wiser wisdom here right under my nose and from above and clearly communicate and love and heal from old stories and make new things completely better. It can happen. Amen.

Gift Idea

Just for fun, people can enjoy being nicer than they were encouraged to be... Just much better to self & others, like how little kids can be nicer sometimes, too. Why not. Some people can mellow out for fun at any time.

Now can be more simple

Not the class that ended with either a mixture of reminders on how it's a very problematic holiday or an opportunity to practice more gratitude.

Please send some healing. My face hurts on the left side and I feel sick. Gratitude will bring us to better places again.

Oh Them Patriarchal People

Are they just needing to feel SO validated by an inequitable, unsustainable system, SO much that they're willing to ruin an afternoon, or make a person not much feel like leaving the apartment, AGAIN?

Well, more growth is still expected from the Universe.

“'When we work from one perspective, it is not enough,' she said, explaining that her perspective as an Indigenous woman who is also disabled informs her experience on the frontline of climate change — and her ideas for how to adapt and fight back. In Nepal, for example, melting glaciers have an outsize impact on Indigenous and disabled populations, altering water resources and landscapes, and disrupting traditional practices and access to care.

The hope is that support from, and solidarity with, other constituencies will help disability groups apply and gain status. But for now, people with disabilities are still trying to convince climate activists and policymakers that their rights need to be included in climate action.

Magically stopped being an obstacle.

Dude who got better at nourishing his feminine side and inner child and even went for more honesty, in that era no less!!!!

There are sad adults who are more immature than some children right now.

Grief at some grown patriarchal people's irresponsible choices.

They are incredibly addicted to acting like they expect others to be fine with a lack of sensitivity, dishonesty. and tolerance of violence.

They learned this from a culture which acts like people in certain bodies are much more entitled to indulge in harmful behaviors than others, without any apparent external consequences (and they don't even want to see what a disservice they've been doing to themselves.)

Grief has happened, witnessing this.

And may many become healthier and happier

People who have continuously chosen to live in denial in order to cope with life may need help from higher sources to assist them with seeing new ways of doing things. It seems like that could be so.

Because sometimes Environment X is no better than a Corrupt Church.

Notice and avoid the ones whose vibes remind you of unsafe cults or fraternity parties where violence goes unchecked, a dream advised. Even or especially from people who you would think would know better by now, at their ages. Dreams are telling you that for a very good reason.

Maybe it's not really a privilege

Maybe it's more like an illness when patriarchal culture makes excuses for violence and indifference to others just because of some people needing to feed their addictions to things.

That seems like something which could improve.

Dr. Alice Reznickova writes,

"Farmworkers are some of the lowest-paid workers in the United States, with average family incomes between $25,000 and $29,999 in 2020, so we would expect high rates of food insecurity among these families. Among families with six or more members, 44 percent fell below the federal poverty guidelines, which means that more children may be at risk of food insecurity.

But without data collection on the national level, we can only guess how many farmworker families are affected. Small-scale studies of individual communities of farmworkers may give us a better idea but are not a substitute for national data."

Didn't have to read too far for a Thanksgiving reference.

"The history of farm work in the United States is a history of violence. From slavery through the Bracero program to migrant workers in the 1960s, our food has been produced and harvested under brutal conditions including loss of freedom, lack of access to citizenship, and hazardous, sometimes deadly, environments both at work and at home. While people may think the situation is different today, daily life is still full of dangers for the estimated 2.4 million farmworkers in the United States, most of whom are Hispanic and Indigenous. Thank you for happy cottagecore girls although we might have gotten a bit depressed and felt like an alien. How do they do that. Genetics, too.

Thank you for water and for Epsom salt.

It would also be nice...

If this backache would subside and you could tell your dad and his very sexist friends (they could be men or wonen) there's no way I am allowed by the universe to make life worse for women just to cater to their incredibly selfish egos.

They are so accustomed to people doing that, sometimes their entitlement literally horrifies me, almost if they are asking me to murder my own family in the exchange for laughing at another dumb, tasteless joke they concocted for incels.

I am disappointed and disgusted with their disrespectful attitudes, rudeness, carelessness, and irresponsibility. I think they were better people when they were younger, but it is sad how they cave in to violence more easily than most people.

"This call from farmworkers takes on even more importance as Thanksgiving approaches. At least half of the nation’s farmworkers lack legal immigration status. The Food Empowerment Project said that while the number of undocumented workers at slaughterhouses is unknown, nearly 40% are immigrants. Both groups were declared essential workers amid the pandemic, and subsequently greatly suffered from illness. But no permanent relief followed.

“This Thanksgiving, families all over the country will enjoy the food brought to their tables by farm workers,” said Diana Tellefson Torres, UFW Foundation chief executive officer. “Farm workers demonstrated during the pandemic that they are at the very core of our food security.
