Do they ever consider making detailed lists of all the factors that make it hard for them to treat some of their fellow human beings with just a very baseline amount of respect?
Income, sure, that could be a factor.
But what about other aspects of their circumstances?
Tradition, comfort levels with certain amounts of sexism or racism or classism in their own lives, etcetra?
