More and more people can start to see it really is possible to stop needlessly treating women of a variety of backgrounds so very poorly just because they got trained by so many systems -- churches, schools, etcetra --- to think that was a part of gaining more power or control within those patriarchal systems.
And maybe sometimes it's because they weren't raised to expect they deserve much better.
