If I said no to watching a show recently

and then today I had a long conversation with a friend and part of it was about a church community welcoming Egyptian refugees.
She said that a church member takes someone in and gives them bed and breakfast.
Other church members divvy up the responsibilities for helping out with lunch, dinner, driving people to appointments, etc.
So that way, hopefully no one gets overwhelmed.
Oh, and another interesting story was about a guy who grew up with a mom and a grandma. And a father in the church invited him to hang out at their place on Saturdays with other kids as they were just doing chores and stuff.
He went over there almost every Saturday from 6th thru 12th grade and said if he hadn't he would not be the person he is today.
Maybe the cat thinks something smells interesting.
