Doesn't it seem better when laughter is an invitation to let people in?
Rather than when it is used as a barrier to keep people out to maintain an unhealthy status quo?
If you're so determined to act like you do not have any calling to care about certain groups of people who are inconvenient for you to see, it kinda seems like you hate them, and isn't that a waste of time?
Maybe that is some kind of rejection of yourself on another level that you learned to become accustomed to?
