Because I had a dream that a Jack Nicholson type of character told a Helen Hunt sort that he got nicknamed "Ice" because he fell through the ice as a kid and managed to stick two fingers up so his friends and uncle were able to grasp those two fingers to pull him up from under the ice and save him.
