Not the most sensitive of law enforcement. Why?
Women's Equality Party on Twitter: "This is horrendous and we are thinking of Nicole, Bibaa and their loved ones. Why did the officers think they could get away with this? Why weren't they horrified at the thought of this? We must address misogyny and racism in police culture. https://t.co/VgjcxTXZ7r" / Twitter

"Met police officers plead guilty over photos taken at scene of sisters’ deaths" | UK news | The Guardian
"On Tuesday, the women’s mother, Mina Smallman, said the Met was 'beyond hope' and called for its leaders to 'get the rot out once and for all'. She accused the Met commissioner, Cressida Dick, of a 'shoddy way of behaving'. She said: 'She has not contacted us to say ‘I am really sorry’. She has not spoken into this story at all. And it’s shameful that the IOPC [Independent Office for Police Conduct] had to tell the Met they should apologise to us in their failings for the missing persons [investigation]. Too little, too late. Too little, too late.
'When I was in a senior position, if my organisation or department failed, it was on me. I had to take the can for it. Well, it’s now time for them to take the can for it. They are beyond hope.'”

Mandu Reid on Twitter: "Read this last night, I’m still processing it. What happened to Ann: the sexual violence, the abuse of power, the gaslighting, the impunity of the perpetrator, the systems and institutions that enabled and continue to enable him… is the story of so many women. It has to stop." /

Mandu Reid on Twitter: "The details of what these police officers did are beyond horrific. As Mina Smallman has said: we HAVE to examine why and how they felt comfortable enough to do such a thing, we HAVE to address what this tells us about the culture within the @metpoliceuk. https://t.co/Uxo8eZRrbK" / Twitter
