I think 1/3 of this turned out well

using a small ceramic pot inside of a larger metallic one with hot water in it, which was inspired by the double boiker method from 1/2 of a slightly more complicated recipe using only egg yolks,  which turned out okay, but not quite as good because it was not very tart.
