How to treat people like second class citizens class revised for the new century:
Appear to treat a few people well so you can be awful to the rest.
Make abusive behavior into a joke.
Pay people for situations which will be far worse if replicated in other workplaces.
Be contented with a man or a woman or anyone if only a few benefit from...

Keep expectations low like that.
Say "I don't know why you're mad. Things wouldn't even be this way if lots of people had not liked or at least tolerated this for many years."
Encourage toxic positivity that lacks empathy for others even though it clearly does not serve people from all backgrounds equally well.
When everything gets tough, apathy.
