I went outside, and I could not see the man who was smoking on the balcony by himself very well. But I guessed that both of these people I heard are probably young. Now my mind MUST ask: what is it about our society that leads people to make extra excuses for the behavior of certain status / certain background / certain personality kinds of men, as opposed to other kinds of men, on a more regular basis? (Other men might also have had excuses made for their behavior from time to time, being this is still life under the patriarchy?)
