I do...and I love lightness...and effervescent feelings...kind of.
So, I really don't want to, at all, & yet sometimes it seems that I would rather be locked away than live in the world of delusion which some people willingly choose in exchange for money or just temporary pleasure.

Often a person is born okay, but then life happens and the beautiful soul somehow get twisted or pushed around and attracts some very self-centered & narcissistic people (who prop up rapists for their own gain, while other people's children get raped.)
People get trained by the patriarchy to act like whole groups of certain people just don't exist!
It seems like a mimicry of what some of the colonized who transformed themselves into the colonizers do in order to achieve survival or even "success."
Even on a sinking ship, there are some who will never grow up or change because toads apparently (ha-ha!) have more of a conscience than these people who continue to prop up rapists for their own gain, while other people get raped.
(But even if society tells many that it is to their benefit to ignore their own humanity or connection to those people, to enforce fake positivity or whatever, both sides still deserve much, much better.)
Old colonizer attitudes of "rape only happens to other people so I can have my fake comfortable lifestyle" = immature patriarchal bullshit.
Plus how on Earth do those people live in Magical non-PTSD Land without heavy chemicals in their system?
Oh I guess there's also $$$$$.
