I just feel strangely at peace with a good bed comforter and air-conditioning, and I am remembering that I had some really fun experiences attending a writer's group many years ago. It is true that a couple of the men disappointed me years later with some of their icky and triggering Facebook rants (part of the reason I don't check that medium anymore) but it was not at all like that in our writer's group! And aren't conversations just better sometimes.
