Energies...what are they about, really.
X sees a man being self-absorbed and also giving professional favors to someone he's secretly dating (the universe has given indicators) and observes how this feels like an insulting misuse of the man's potential and the exact sort of behavior the patriarchy is constantly enabling and making excuses for.
Later X wants to get away...finds a cute place to stay for a short while in the mountains. X walks into the cabin and gets a strange sense of deja-vu, especially in the walk-in closet. People have felt depressed here, X intuits.
X checks the guest book and is astonished to see the names of certain people are in it. Out of all the cabins in the mountain range, the universe had to send X to stay in that one!!!!!!
