Some people have a way of reminding you of that society needs to stop treating women like crap. Have you ever felt like the universe was giving you reminders not to encourage people to keep on with the same old-fashioned unhealthy BS patterns. I don't know how to communicate to some people it's not okay, when clearly their patriarchal upbringings taught them it was the thing to do, to be careless and disrespectful.
Just because your parents gave you messages that it was okay doesn't mean you have to repeat their patterns.
