Balloons...

Yesterday when I was feeling poorly but making myself take the shortest hike ever, a shiny balloon flew in front of me.

It reminded me of when I was walking in a garden in Virginia, thinking about moving to California, and I saw a heart-shaped one floating upwards. 

The universe has some whimsy.

Both times they made me think of the last stanza of this poem:
