She used to live in a big house in an expensive, gated neighborhood and it was shaped like a horse shoe but it was not at all a comfortable place to live. She didn't own the house; it belonged to friends. She said that some rooms were too big and others were too small.
Later, when her friends downsized, she moved elsewhere. Her friends moved to another gated community in a less wealthy, but still upscale area.
And later yet, her friends moved again, and now they are neighbors.
