Yesterday I used discount bought in bulk non-organic red clover and raspberry leaf for a 64 oz mason jar. I added two packets of organic spearmint tea. I just strained it and I pressed a lot of the extra water out of the leaves. It has been chilled overnight. Also I used a plastic lid on the container.
The result is less floral...
It tastes like a very slightly burnt crust of bread with a hint of minty aftertaste.
It's not bad, actually.
But I might splurge for organic bulk next time.
At the rate I'm going I'll have used up all these herbs within the month anyway.
