Had a witch dream

I had a dream that there was an awards ceremony in which someone (a man of course) was being praised (by another man, of course) for opening doors for people. I was not in agreement with what was being said because I felt the door opening process had not happened for myself. The person who was making those assertions heard my disagreement and confronted me afterwards. And we both stared at each other. And then, I was really shocked because he started crying.  I had cried as well, in private. But in this case, I was not crying. I said, I liked what I was learning. I was doing well. But I did not feel acknowledged at all.

He said, We didn't know you. Things were better after you left.

I said, things were better after I left? You make it sound like you think I'm a witch!

Then he nodded and he left, still crying.
