Apparently, the universe wishes
to convince me of my youth and attractiveness when I study. This evening, a musician who is probably about my age passed out his cards and when he got to me, asked me a little about myself, guessed I was a sophomore, then said "I wish I was a student, because I'd try to do you every day. Ha ha! Is that a line or what?" Then he said but seriously, if you ever want to go out for coffee...and gave a second card...I told him that this has been happening to me lately. (A few weeks ago, I was studying and when the coffee shop was closing up, a much younger man followed me across the parking lot and told me I was "really beautiful," asked if I go out with him for coffee, etc.) "Really! You just have a kind of glow. You're not pregnant, are you?" this one asked. I said I was not. Shortly thereafter they began putting out the lights, so I had to leave, and he was still asking me questions, but I waved goodbye. These people seem relatively harmless. I went into an icecream shop and was slightly nervous, but decided no one was going to follow or badger me, and no one did. I walked home alone eating icecream in the dark, enjoying the autumn coolness.
