I looked at music news and I can't believe Sam Smith is 22 years old. The only video of his music that I've watched so far is all about two women who just exist to be shaggable vehicles for a man's loneliness...how much of the songwriter goes into the video? And I talked to a group of young people (some of them are a little older than he is) and found out none of them watched the awards show or were particularly interested in it. So, hmmm.
