I haven't traveled about as much as I thought I would have at this stage of life. But I've lived in various places. So, the first place I felt loyal to as a kid was New York. I didn't live in NYC but when I visited, something about it had a very familiar vibe. Some old friends of mine have moved there and lived there extensively. I never have, but I thought about it.

One friend who took some pictures of me when we were much younger lives in NYC...she's got some of her creative work online...I think this is her husband, who I met once, a really long time ago. I would like to go to the Phillippines and Ireland sometime...

Another old friend of mine who has been to those countries also lives in New York. She has a poem online which is set on an island, which is also where we first met: Out Of The Marram Grass. And I think there are Homer references in that poem...
