I feel like things could get better again.

Sometimes when I want to get more grounded and I think about people or places that have been super important or formative experiences for me, I kind of wonder why I have to be scattered in all these different places, like this part of me was really important in this place, and that part of me was really important in that place, and I just want to integrate everything. 

I've met people who just stayed in one place their whole life more or less. And their entire family was from the same place, too, and I don't know what that's like. What would I be like if I had that kind of a life?

But I'm also glad I've lived in different places. There are so many micro-cultures I got to experience from being in different environments.

And perhaps they don't want to know more about that. When they don't want to know things, it's because a part of them feels fragile, and they are afraid.

The body wants to feel better and to really know that more healing can happen so the body will feel better again today. Thank you, universe of healing.

Sometimes older people got trained to act like irresponsible bullies who seem to be no more trustworthy than an immature, morally dubious, drunken fraternity, and you just can't wait to leave their party and not hear anymore excuses for their choices.

Even experiencing significant trauma was better than repeating an old pattern.

Humans deserve to heal from painful experiences. 

A lot of stress and trauma and grief can be felt as a result of the harmful effects of discrimination and there's times when that cannot be ignored for the convenience of others who are less sensitive to the harmful effects.

I guess if I have to just kind of more take time repair my own nervous system so I can feel better and begin a new way of life, than that's how it goes.

It's a very dull version of "success" that simply doesn't work for a lot of people.

Maintaining a so-called "comfortable" lifestyle that is quite easily shattered when the "comfortableness" relies on lots of discrimination and loads of self-absorption does not work for everyone, and there's also a fragility aspect to it, because even when things are going well, there's an undercurrent of fear. Surely people are capable of expecting better of themselves and of others.

Anyways, maybe tomorrow will be different.

I am going to have to find a spiritual path to help me get through this time.

It's too hard to try to communicate with people who have to act like some really racist stuff that they've been going along with their entire life is still what they're willing to go along with now. I wonder why this bothers me so much. I mean it seems natural that it bothers me, but why is this happening? People are being cruel, and they think that their cruel ways are the normal ways, and to me, I know they're not the normal ways, but I don't understand why they feel like they're the normal ways, for other people. I don't know. I just feel like I have to encounter some kind of Truth. Like maybe a part of me is just not old enough to be able to accept how bizarrely and devastatingly and harshly prejudiced a lot of people are. I mean, am I reverting to a child's state of awareness or something? I mean, if I revert to a child's state of awareness, will that give me some relief, and I won't feel so much pain about this? I mean, can I zone out and just like, not feel so much pain about this stuff anymore? It's unreal. I don't want to have a nervous breakdown because I'm letting other people's attachments to a very prejudiced way of living destroy how I feel about having a life on this planet. I cannot let what they do and choose destroy how I feel, and I need to find a much better way to get through these days than getting thrown off so badly by the pain and suffering that I feel. I at least feel a little bit better to be able to acknowledge how bad I feel and that I know I need to help myself get better and not feel so bad somehow.

I wish people would not discriminate so much.

I can't be around the people who have to pretend it's just fine to dehumanize certain kinds of people just to make themselves feel better or like they can do better in life when they repeat old discriminatory patterns. It feels too painful to pretend that's enough for the humans on Earth right now. I wonder if any higher and wiser forces could help the people who are suffering right now get through these really painful times.

Grief and sorrow.

Grief and sorrow are here because too many people were trained to discriminate against others and to pretend it's okay to do it. Ah, the innocence of a few short years ago.

I'm going to take care of my health, but all I'm going to say is when talented people then choose to oppress others, they're really wasting their opportunities, and it's very foolish. Squandering their opportunities is not actually very kind to themselves either. They should find the people who can teach them how to be kinder to themselves, and then allow that to help them to treat others a lot better, too. That would be impressive.

Do you ever lose patience when people act stupid and cruel?

I wish some people would just be less stupid and cruel in the next life. Don't make excuses. Don't say it's because this is what the parents did. Don't say it's because you were forced to do it to fit in with other stupid and cruel people. Just quit it! 

Especially people in this country who have so many options, and yet they keep choosing the same stupid cruel choices which are not really solutions. They are dead ends.

Being racist and sexist against certain children and adults just to live a mediocre life that feels a tiny bit more temporarily cozy to you and makes you feel better off than the people that patriarchal white supremacy constantly discriminates against is a very cruel and very stupid lifestyle.

People are going to be aghast at the idea of repeating such patterns, and settling for so little, in the future. Some people already starting to get pretty disgusted with it now.

Okay, you can go get better now. Do what you need to do to get yourself in a better state of health! Good!

I think I need to take a break from looking at it, huh?

It's pretty depressing to  look at history and see the low numbers and the statistics, and then you realize how the "bad" people took over whole countries in the past. Because most of the "regular" (whatever that means) people with their "normal" selfish survival mechanisms just kind of caved in and "let it happen."

Some people are just a very stressful experience when it comes to anything even a little bit social justice oriented.

It's appalling much the self-absorption of some people (who, yes, have definitely experienced their own traumas) manifests in immaturity and a willingness to go along with some other people's random acts of cruelty. This weakness can really warp some people, who used to seem like they knew how to act like they were people with a conscience.

Won't it be nice to have good leadership again someday?

Instead of more oppressive antics performed by the adherents of racism and sexism? I really can't wait for things to actually get better. It will be so much nicer for some of us when that finally happens.
