Well, they're humans being...PTSD'd in the present.

Something unfortunate about being alive at this time is that you can be the type of person who sees a cat get scared in the backyard when a plane flies too low, and then you think about how scared all the pets and children and people are when...

Wouldn't it be nice to remember the good things more often🌻.

Dear God, please help me to better remember how we are here to get better. 💗

Life in a human body on this planet can be very humbling.🤧

Help us heal ourselves and our nervous systems and heal from everything that's in the past and have a beautiful healing journey.🌎

Ridiculous.

Man, you just can't wait for the greater grandchildren to get better at fixing all the inhumane habits and social justice kinds of things.

Who pays for this stuff.

"As Democratic Sen. Jeff Merkley of Oregon noted on the Senate floor, the process for clearing aid with the Israeli authorities is opaque and inconsistent. 'Items that are allowed in one day can be rejected the next….' For this reason, everyone simply brought whatever they could as personal luggage — even surgical equipment — paying exorbitant airline baggage fees instead of bulk shipping rates. Now that Rafah is closed, even this route for resupplying Gaza’s hospitals has been cut off."

Also interesting to read about.

"We were the only two surgeons in the group with experience in disaster zones. We were also the only two on the trip who didn’t speak Arabic, were not of Arab origin and were not Muslim. Mark is an orthopedic surgeon who grew up in a Jewish family in Penns Grove, New Jersey. Feroze is a trauma surgeon who grew up in a Parsi household in Flint, Michigan and worked with a Palestinian-Jewish cooperative in Haifa after graduation from college. Neither one of us is religious. Neither one of us has any political interest in the outcome of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict — other than wanting it to end."

This is also a mean way to misuse rich people's money, isn't it? Unless they're not paying for it as much as others are.

"In the operating room, we examined Juri from head to toe. This beautiful, meek little girl was missing two inches of her left femur along with most of the muscle and skin on the back of her thigh. Both of her buttocks were flayed open, cutting so deeply through flesh that the lowest bones in her pelvis were exposed. As we swept our hands through this topography of cruelty, maggots fell in clumps onto the operating room table.

'Jesus Christ,' Feroze muttered as we washed the larvae into a bucket, 'she’s just a fucking kid.'”

Maybe tomorrow will be better.

People who act like they really need to invalidate your experiences in order to make themselves feel better about their own lifestyles/choices are not helpful, and they are not your friends.

How can everything remain the same forever??

The ancestor on that side of the family just wanted you to be as racist and sexist and uncaring about X types of people as they were raising their own children to be, but some of their children didn't go along with their programming, did they???

The answer is, it's probably not happening.

How are you ever going to be as much of an abusive attention-seeking rich guy as that guy's family and friends and associates would need you to be, in order for them to act as though they have even a baseline amount of respect for your actual existence?

Now I feel like baking!

 Cupcakes, perhaps.

Sure, and why not.

X will stop acting like the mean people are more important to cater to than anyone else when X gets the confidence to make that kind of major lifestyle shift. X could even still do that in this lifetime.

I feel I have accumulated some learning in this life.

As of this evening, I just feel like if I were born to wealth or accumulated it through my talents, it would not be in my best interest to degrade and traumatize others out of some kind of addiction to self absorption and ignorance and needing to go along with certain programs that are clearly not what's in the best interests of certain other kinds of people...and that's how it feels, recently. Could there be a new lesson to consider about life tomorrow? Sure. That might be possible. That will probably happen. It could certainly be very interesting to see what other kinds of knowledge will become more accessible.

Actually, it occurs to me sometimes that good healing is always still possible.

Because somewhere in the world, there are some kinds of good healing energy that can help us. And how can we get access to it when we're in different circumstances? That's what is the really interesting question.

Actually, when I'm more tapped into those feelings of optimism, I'm kind of excited about the possibilities of humans getting to learn more about being more sensitive and more caring and more healthy. And they could even have more fun, too.

To take better care of one's life is the journey.

It's really time to learn how to take much better care of one's health again.

Feelings! What's to be done.

Have you ever been made to feel like some people in certain industries just wish you would be a more simple person. Like, a person who has thoughts and feelings that don't matter in their world. Any too feminist thoughts or feelings just "shouldn't matter" in their realms. Like, what's more comfortable to them is that you're, I don't know, "just jealous" of people who succeeded in patriarchal environments, and that comforting feeling, that you're "just jealous" gives them the best reasons to dismiss you and any discomfiting feminist thoughts or feelings that might have come up within you, as a result of your differences in life experiences?

I decided to look at what I read earlier again.

"Thich Nhat Hanh, the beloved Vietnamese teacher, said, 'Anger and hatred are the materials from which hell is made.' It is not that the compassionate heart will never feel anger. Faced with the terrible injustice, oppression, and violence in our world, our hearts tremble not only with compassion but also with anger. A person without anger may be a person who has not been deeply touched by harmful acts that scar the lives of too many people. Anger can be the beginning of abandonment or the beginning of commitment to helping others."

~ Christina Feldman

https://www.lionsroar.com/she-who-hears-the-cries-of-the-world/

That's an interesting question.

I was around a bunch of positivity and I was having a nice time and then I came home and I was thinking about the stuff that makes me mad again, and I was like, well. I was just able to be positive for a little while. Am I now more of a positive person about the stuff that makes me mad???

It's kind of a weird form of trauma?

Certain kinds of "advantaged" people will explain why they "just have too much good energy" to care about social justice when certain kinds of things happen to certain kinds of people who they are trained to not care about.

I am still just not advanced enough for some today.

I really don't want to act like you because you're really self-absorbed and that was not necessary. Get a spiritual cleanse.

Catty voice cometh through.

Misusing your vast privileges and being mean because you feel insecure is not your highest calling!

Actually, this can be really challenging.

"To discover an awakened heart within ourselves, it is crucial not to idealize or romanticize compassion. Our compassion simply grows out of our willingness to meet pain rather than to flee from it."

Humans need to get rehabilitated.

I recently saw some people online discrediting a video of  an adult who was having a trembling panic attack, and I thought that was very inhumane. But they were making fun of it and calling it acting. I suppose it made them feel better to say those things?

Some well-off women are still under an enormous amount of pressure to make excuses for certain well-off men. It's making me think of all the times they must have been told, "So-and-so is just mean to people because he likes them. Aren't you flattered."

Tomorrow could be better for health reasons.

On one hand, sometimes it seems as though privilege is wasted on the privileged. Like that saying, "youth is wasted on the young." But on the other hand, maybe they're not as privileged as they think they are. Maybe they even deserved to enjoy more privileges than they got, actually. Maybe instead of privileges, what they got was a bunch of coping mechanisms that aren't really sustainable. Maybe if they got more privileges, they would be more sensitive and compassionate to all kinds of people. And being that way would come to them more naturally? Hmmm. It's a thing to wonder about.

Higher Powers help us.

It's time to pray to God and nature to give me the courage to heal.

All About. Remembered fluctuating from sympathy to rage at a grieving woman who acted just as unfriendly at a wake as she had in the previous decades. Dot recalled feeling as tho her patience was being sorely tested. Thought began making a story in her head about why things were that way. Perhaps a grieving unfriendly woman was just intimidated by another family and didn't know how to express her pain about that in any other way. Dot felt like making a joke about how no one really fits in anywhere. Dot certainly knew she barely fit in. It's not anyone's fault that we don't fit in with these ridiculously rigid ideals. When people do feel like they fit in, it's a combination of happy accidents going their way that made it possible for them to train their minds to fit into the molds, reflected...

Is that a trick question.

Can shallow people make you actually physically ill.

Apparently not. The body keeps the score.

Are you sure you don't want to act like them in exchange for more money or even a nice tiny home on a piece of land that only cost a half a million dollars in California?

The shallow parents are not an excuse.

Your children should learn how to stop dehumanizing others, even though you constantly role model those characteristics for them, and they are copying those ways of treating others off you, so you will accept them.

"'Everywhere one looked at the convention, Republicans were exalting maleness with an ardor that reads as 'defensive' to outsiders but appears to be a convincing display to those inside the MAGA cult. The overcompensation led to a grand finale featuring both pro wrestler Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White, rather than the traditional activists and politicians one hears at a convention. Hogan declared Trump a 'gladiator,' which should be funny applied to a doughy senior citizen caked in make-up, but appears to have been taken at face value by the RNC crowd. Along with the James Brown song, Trump used 'Macho Man' by the Village People as intro music, still indifferent to the irony of the song."

"WHY.... MATTER"

"Our project uncovered that the working conditions for farmworkers are not just precarious but often exploitative.

As public health researchers, we define exploitative labor practices as those that take harmful advantage of a worker’s vulnerabilities—whether psychological, physical, sexual, social, economic or legal—to achieve financial gain. Workers often endure labor exploitation because of their economic needs and exclusion from policies that would ensure protection and safety as it is conferred to other occupations.

We find that labor exploitation of Michigan farmworkers includes excessive and unpredictable work schedules, penalties and wage theft. Wage theft can take the form of denial of payments through the piece-rate system, physical and psychological abuse, coercion and threats.

The fundamental dehumanization of workers and dangerous violations to basic human rights like access to drinking water and safe working conditions were noted by workers in the first study of the Michigan Farmworker Project, conducted from 2019 to 2021."

Dear various human babies grown up.

I guess I have a lullaby in my ear...

I seem to understand a little better that the humbleness of some, and neediness in others, and the naivete of certain people has shown me a lot about human vulnerability.

Even some of the silly, ridiculous posturing that one could find insulting or offensive or toxic or unwell has done a lot to communicate how vulnerable humans are and how much they want and need things.

A bunch of big babies! Oh my goodness. They were our little ones, once upon a time, weren't they?

I know the sleepiness will come.

Can't easily sleep, but cat is so cute, and makes life better. I will sleep soon.

Why couldn't you just make your feminism more acquisitionable to the well-off?

Oh well. Perhaps another time. Also, it's because I had health issues. Yeah. Really complicated health issues, man.

Learned patterns of behavior can be tragic.

Yes, the filtering technique; it works?

You should just look at some people when they're having those rare moments where they're forgetting to be so sexist against others, and then you will have a much better impression of them.

They even feel bad for younger people who aren't getting pensions now, too.

The conservatives who liked Ronald Reagan are not the ones who get interviewed and made fun of on television at the ridiculous Trump Conventions. They're probably at home cutting the lawn and working on their cars and rubbing down their horses and stuff. And giving money to charitable causes.

Bleach!

I think Trump is more of a narcissistic show business person than he is a Trump voter. I feel like the Trump voters are all just being deceived and they have less in common with Trump than the show business people do. The not famous Trump voters just think he's a necessary means to an end to start restoring "niceness." They don't expect to ever actually have to hang out with him, either.

Some men really do rely on women with a strong sense of internalized misogyny to prop up their egos, and I don't know why but it's that way.

Why is his life like that. "These women who choose to act like I'm the greatest would absolutely treat me like a piece of dog s*** if I was in a certain kind of woman's body."

And that's when God sends the sweet conservatives who feel like being good to people along your path

Oh my God, it's SO crazy how some rich people in Hollywood who think they're liberal actually have way more in common with Donald Trump than some of the people who are actually planning on voting for Donald Trump have in common with him, isn't it?

Well, it's time to get better.

Well, it's time to find the healing that might be available to this body, at this time, in the Year of Our Lord, A.D.

I wonder if leaving a book behind for the next generation to read made a difference?

"When the film-maker Daniela Völker met Hans Jürgen Höss, the 90-year-old son of Rudolf Höss, the commandant of Auschwitz, she had understood that he did not recall witnessing any of the horrors, despite spending almost four years of his early childhood living in the villa adjacent to the camp.

'At first, he really didn’t. I had a German cameraman who said I was wasting my time and money and to leave.' But undeterred, Völker hung around for a few days and on the last day of filming gave Hans Jürgen his father’s confessional autobiography, which he had never read. 'I’d selected parts for him to read. And you could see the change in his face as he started reading.'"

It's almost as if it helped illustrate how some people's innate capacity to rely on self-absorption as a survival mechanism was what made some of them more capable dehumanizing others while still enjoying a superior quality of life (for a temporary amount of time.)

God bless their grandchildren!

"Don't worry, as you expand your awareness, you're less likely to be so mortifyingly dehumanizing towards the others who are so much like me."

Greed is not healthy; in fact, it can be genocide.

Also, it feels like the richer people's tax dollars have funded more suffering and agony, so what if that's why some of them are more invested in being so uncaring?

Let's hope the next generations are less addicted to "dishonest harmony" and more actually peace-loving

It's so sad that patriarchal white supremacy has created so many narcissistic people who literally seem addicted to acting like it is "just so normal" to simply not care about the children whose limbs are being amputated because of racism and the misuse of their tax dollars.

Actually, I do believe.

It really is natural for humans to grow and to have curiosity, and to evolve and change. That's true whether you think you're liberal or conservative.

What will your expression of yourself at this time in history make apparent?

Oh haha, I did mean to say patriarchal culture, of course, but living in a hydraulic culture is also kind of interesting, isn't it.

And what if it's possible that they might actually like it.

What if it's possible for some people to become more involved in their own personal growth and much nicer?

Maybe this is why history class happened.

"Multiple soldiers testified that the permissive shooting policy has enabled Israeli units to kill Palestinian civilians even when they are identified as such beforehand. D., a reservist, said that his brigade was stationed next to two so-called 'humanitarian' travel corridors, one for aid organizations and one for civilians fleeing from the north to the south of the Strip. Within his brigade’s area of operation, they instituted a 'red line, green line' policy, delineating zones where it was forbidden for civilians to enter.

According to D., aid organizations were permitted to travel into these zones with prior coordination (our interview was conducted before a series of Israeli precision strikes killed seven World Central Kitchen employees), but for Palestinians it was different. 'Anyone who crossed into the green area would become a potential target,' D. said, claiming that these areas were signposted to civilians. 'If they cross the red line, you report it on the radio and you don’t need to wait for permission, you can shoot.'

Yet D. said that civilians often came into areas where aid convoys passed through in order to look for scraps that might fall from the trucks; nonetheless, the policy was to shoot anyone who tried to enter. 'The civilians are clearly refugees, they are desperate, they have nothing,' he said. Yet in the early months of the war, 'every day there were two or three incidents with innocent people or [people] who were suspected of being sent by Hamas as spotters,' whom soldiers in his battalion shot.

The soldiers testified that throughout Gaza, corpses of Palestinians in civilian clothes remained scattered along roads and open ground. “The whole area was full of bodies,” said S., a reservist. 'There are also dogs, cows, and horses that survived the bombings and have nowhere to go. We can’t feed them, and we don’t want them to get too close either. So, you occasionally see dogs walking around with rotting body parts. There is a horrific smell of death.'"

"'I’m bored, so I shoot’: The Israeli army’s approval of free-for-all violence in Gaza

Israeli soldiers describe the near-total absence of firing regulations in the Gaza war, with troops shooting as they please, setting homes ablaze, and leaving corpses on the streets — all with their commanders’ permission."

https://www.972mag.com/israeli-soldiers-gaza-firing-regulations/

Actually, this made me think of Otto Frank.

"For me and my family, as residents of Jaffa — the only Palestinian community amid some 4 million Jews in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area — we cannot help but wonder: what will they do to us? Maybe they’ll put us in a ghetto like they did after 1948? Maybe armed Jewish groups will organize to harm us like they did during the Unity Intifada of May 2021 — and as they do in the West Bank every day?

Just three years after May 2021 and its aftermath, when Palestinians in Jaffa and other so-called 'mixed cities' witnessed state violence synchronize with Zionist mob violence, we are reminded how hollow our citizenship is — particularly in times of crisis.

Our ongoing dilemma

My daughter loves watching videos on YouTube, but as responsible parents, we limit her screen time to 15 minutes a day. Occasionally, as I sit and watch with her, terrifying advertisements pop up: state propaganda promoting the war, or songs calling for more Palestinian blood. Thankfully, she doesn’t understand Hebrew and can’t grasp how dangerous our situation is."

Actually, addiction is one of the most painful illnesses for humans to deal with on this planet.

People who are in the throes of their addictions will change someday, but not until they really want to, and some of them will die first. Especially, that might happen if they got rewarded by an imbalanced culture for a long time for indulging in certain kinds of addictions. I do think that being overly controlling is a real addiction for some people. They probably should have rehab clinics for that kind of addiction, too.

She must have been a very nice person.
