Good morning, humanity!

Sometimes it's the little things in life, like acknowledging that x kinds of people exist and deserve real human rights, too.

Bless humanity and may humans feel better (including this one)

I pray to get better. I wasn't able to sleep because of feeling congested, and I don't feel as well as I wish I would and I ask a lot of higher healing energies to help me feel better and get healthier and not so affected by all the difficulties and I am happy we have a nice kitty cat...who is sleeping at my feet...Bless the people.

I found a joke in my head.

It's about why certain kinds of people cross paths with other kinds of people.

When mental illness that got addicted to going along with so much patriarchal BS met mental illness that found it impossible to go along with so much patriarchal BS. Hahaha. Of course the universe made it happen like that.

Where's the balance.

Helpful. Thank you for sharing.

Does it ever take time for your brain to process new information?

Is it as good as your skincare regimen?

What's your daily routine of which children you are going to treat as more valuable than the other children today?

Which one does your community value the most???

When it comes to your house, your bank account, your brain, your land, your heart or your pinky finger.

I am SO glad no one ever tried to drown me in a pool when I was a little kid!

“'We are American citizens, originally from Palestine, and I don’t know where to go to feel safe with my kids. My country is facing a war, and we are facing that hate here,' CAIR quoted the child’s mother as saying.

'My daughter is traumatised; whenever I open the apartment door, she runs away and hides, telling me she is afraid the lady will come and immerse her head in the water again.'"

I don’t think I realized at the time how significant the conversation was, but after remembering it, I can only think that it had a huge impact on my decision to not have kids. Why bring someone into the world if you’re not going to leave it better for them? It’s so weird to me that people think this way.

Oh. It does sound complicated.

"How does this multiracial element affect or complicate the government efforts to respond to domestic terrorism threats?

Because the government tends to look at ideology as the driver and has all these social media monitoring programs to examine what people are saying, white supremacist groups who don’t fit the profile that law enforcement might be looking for could slip through the cracks. But if the government simply focused on the violence and the threat of violence, they would be much more successful, because none of these ideologies that the government brands as precursors to terrorism are 100 percent pure in practice.

The government must understand criminality — particularly violent crime, and then attack the instrumentalities of violent crime, including the ease with which people can acquire extremely deadly weapons, which are the common denominator in these mass shootings. We have to establish a regulatory process that actually works.

And if we start gathering the data of all these white supremacist crimes around the country, then we can see the connections between them and how they may be related to an ongoing criminal conspiracy that’s continuing to perpetuate violence, even as certain individuals within the organization go to jail. There’s a law on the books — the National Defense Authorization Act of 2020 — that requires the FBI to document incidents of domestic terrorism, including white supremacist violence. But so far, the FBI has refused to do so.

White supremacy is foundational to our country, particularly our criminal justice system. Many of the laws that police used to enforce — from the Fugitive Slave Act to Jim Crow — were openly racist. So we have to recognize how law enforcement’s reluctance to properly respond to white supremacist violence because of its own affinity for white supremacy remains a problem."

Who reads? Or cares?

"What is there to be gained by people of color, especially when they join movements that profess to regard them as inferior?"

"It’s better to think of it in terms of intent instead of skin color. The concept of white supremacy could be ideological — a belief that white people are somehow superior — or it could be simply an expression of what subgroup is powerful in the country, so the attraction to white dominance in this culture is an attraction to power.  In the history of white supremacist groups in the United States, you often see people with Jewish backgrounds who are attracted to them, or African Americans. And part of that is that they want to be seen as associated with power, or by their association they believe they can be protected from the racist abuse these groups might otherwise dole out. Humans are complex. As an undercover agent, I came across a lot of violent people. So being attracted to a violent white supremacist group might be a way of just expressing their anger and exploring their interest in committing violence."

~ Mireya Navarro and Michael German

https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/research-reports/why-white-supremacist-groups-attract-latinos-their-ranks

Eeeesh. Interesting?

"Why would white supremacist groups recruit people of color?"

"The groups recognize that their viewpoint isn’t popular, so they’re constantly trying to recruit people — even somebody who might not be entirely ideologically on board or racially pure. If that person comes out to a rally or participates in an act of violence, they’re going to be welcomed. The attitude is, if we ever get to the race war, we’ll be more discerning about who we let in, but casting a wider net can be helpful now.  Also, having a nonwhite person as somebody they can put out front aids in softening their public image. The Proud Boys are masters at this. They openly embrace white supremacy in some of their chapters, but as an organization they include people who appear nonwhite and who have a Spanish surname, or even Jewish people, as examples they can point to so they say, 'We might have engaged in violence side by side with a group of white supremacists, but we are not white supremacists.' It helps them gain public support and assists in recruiting."

Since you're not a Nazi

I don't see how being so racist and sexist towards other people's children that you might inadvertently reject your own grandchildren is going to behoove you in the long run, although its quite clear you managed to reap some short term benefits from repeating old patterns, and IT'S BEEN HURTFUL!

Once again, kids, some of your parents are able to be way less racist.

Like, EVOLVE already! GEEZ! You're SO well off and blessed and genetically fortunate; it can't be THAT HARD TO DO!

"Look at how much it will pay off for US."

Toxic positivity really does kind of remind me of how some people became Nazis, actually. In the past!

What else is positive in the universe???

It's nice to know that you're probably able to celebrate that you're less racist than Trump or the Texas woman who tried to drown a Palestinian child. That is something positive.

It's nice to know that life can be filled with pleasant things.

Life is also full of unpleasant things. Sometimes the most unpleasant things come from the people who never want to act like any unpleasant things exist at all because they're being selfish.

Hope so.

Are you sure you're not going to look like a Nazi to any of the different grandchildren? Are you sure they're not going to shiver and want to throw up when they see how you were acting?

You'll have chances to get better.

Just because you chose to act like you believe the cruel and bigoted people are more important than other kinds of people, just to make things a little more comfortable for yourself, doesn't mean all of the younger people are going to be so mean, or repeat what you're doing.

You might as well stop pretending that people are doing things like this because they care about children.

Pretending everything is fine when it's not is actually very mean to children. It's really more of a self-preservation survival tactic thing than a "I care about children thing."

People are not going to want to repeat what some bigoted people in this era have been doing.

It will seem so unhealthy, how little some people cared about certain types of humans, just because they wanted to get the most attention or the most money, or to feel the most justification for going along with practices that will seem increasingly discriminatory and unhealthy for society. Not caring about certain kinds of human beings just to fit in with the unwell ones who repeated patterns of bigotry will seem, at the very least, distasteful.

And there are reasons why.

Frankly, if you think you have to act like a closed-minded bigot in order to get enough money to raise children, I simply don't believe you.

One thing to consider is, you're not in a Nazi concentration camp. Sometimes you just choose to be closed-minded to fit in with other closed-minded people, and if you keep it up, somebody is going to get hurt, even if it's not you.

Someone is going to get born who doesn't fit in to your close-minded, selfish, uncaring and unaccepting way of doing things, and then it will be very hurtful that you cannot accept that person. Because you are simply too comfortable with the way things are to be open to caring about somebody who is too different from you.

And the worst thing is, I'm not sure if that's really who you are. It's just who you decided it was good enough to be.

Consider reevaluating your survival strategy sooner rather than later.

Maybe having to get a paycheck in order to survive is not really going to look like it's a good enough excuse to the young ones in the future.

Why not start hanging out more with people who are better at acknowledging different kinds of people are on this planet? They will have multiple ancestors to look back on and learn from.

How do you know???That they will have to work harder??? WELL.

SOME people seem to have A LOT of addiction to that "sexist man like sexist women who act like sexist men are more important than they are" AND that "white people like brown people who act like white people are more important than they are" ENERGY.

It wouldn't surprise me at all.

Maybe some grandchildren will have to work harder to go along less with the sexist and racist people as a direct result of the decisions you're making today?

Do they!

But all the racist and sexist people treat me so much better when I act this way! How can I possibly give it up???

Maybe you really haven't worked hard enough, actually

You haven't worked hard enough at overcoming sexism and racism because you've gone along with a lot of it in exchange for a more comfortable place in a patriarchal white supremacist society just to get more money and more short-term rather than long-term gains.

Think of better alternatives.

Don't act like a shallow, petulant, uncaring person who participates in oppression just to maintain a delusion and to fit in better with some small-minded people for a little while.

I just don't see how it can go on forever.

Even if you have spent a great portion of this  lifetime ignoring the people that you've been relying on for your lifestyle, it is unsustainable.

You are not better than the people you rely on and ignore because the patriarchy of white supremacy wanted that from you and you decided to go along with it.

I don't really care how hard you think you've worked to deserve your house, your land, your extra money, your special privileges....

What is to be learned?

Racist, sexist, incredibly selfish people who still want to vote for Trump for their own short-term gains, which will actually harm their own descendants...what is the purpose of a lifetime on this planet?

Humanity can evolve.

Maybe I should try a little horseback riding again one of these days...

"Dante Maximus, a black motorized horse with surprisingly lifelike movements, arrived at Coto in March.

While the horse simulator was originally developed as a conditioning tool for horseback riders, Dante has proven himself to be no one-trick pony. His rhythmic motions have found another use at the center: as a therapeutic exercise tool for the disabled.

When Tustin resident Jackie Kerr, 56, began riding the horse simulator seven weeks ago, she didn’t expect to see much improvement in her case of multiple sclerosis. Kerr, who uses a wheelchair, hasn’t been able to bend her right arm for years and experiences recurring pain in her hip area.

But after about 20 sessions on Dante Maximus, she’s able to move her arm again and accomplish a task most take for granted – washing her hair with two hands. The tightness she once felt in her hips has also vanished.

'The pain has been mitigated completely after doing this,' Kerr said."

"Mitchell's story represents a wider public health crisis disproportionately impacting Black women, who report the highest rates of chemical hair straightener use and, in the strongest formulations. The use of these products have not only been linked to uterine cancer deaths but also uterine fibroids, both conditions in which Black women are overrepresented. Accordingly, around 42 per 10,000 women are hospitalised annually because of fibroids in the US; for white women, this incidence rate is 18, shooting up to a staggering 68 per 10,000 for Black women. Myomectomy and hysterectomy rates for Black women are also higher compared to all women. In fact, the risk factors for Black women are so high that "African ancestry is considered a key risk factor for the development of fibroids" by most researchers."

When or if x ever comes back in another body with different genetics...

The part about all kinds of human beings in all kinds of bodies still deserving to be treated well and given the best medical care applies. Even if those who were persuaded to value certain kinds of people above others due to the influences of Patriarchal White Supremacy didn't seem think so, in that certain era, there were also many who had the opportunity to see more of the value in a larger portion of humanity.

Let's circle back now.

"Growing up in Southern Georgia in a big household as one of seven girls, Jenny Mitchell, 34, had always dreamed of raising a family of her own. This goal was shattered one fateful day after a visit to the hospital. 'I'd been going to a fertility specialist to try to have kids because it's something that I'd always wanted. While getting a vaginal ultrasound, my doctor noticed something unusual on my uterine lining. I got tested, and three days later, I got the call saying I had adenocarcinoma, which is uterine cancer,' she tells Refinery29. 'I had to undergo a full hysterectomy to treat it, which was devastating — devastating because it literally took away that dream of mine to have kids and experience motherhood.'"

Gratitude continued!

I am so grateful to know that some of the children and grandchildren are going to be so much better to the "different" kinds of girls and women than what got role modeled for them. I am immensely grateful to know that. I can see it's going to happen. It's already starting to happen!

I understand that I should talk about gratitude more, so I'll try to get better at it.

I am grateful for the people I met who were better, and who taught me to expect better.

Another reason I hope some of your children are better to people than some of you are is

Because some of you have acted like I'm a worthless piece of s*** compared to a man with money, or compared to a woman who has supposedly superior genetics according to Patriarchal White Supremacy, and it's been a gross, disgusting, horrible experience, only highlighted by the fact that I met some people who are much better than that who showed me, Oh, I'm not all crazy. There are some people who are better than that and I felt much better when I was around those people.

Perhaps this indicates who will be much better to a wider group of human beings this time around?

Even though the change is only slowly happening, it's still happening!

Actually, I can tell that a lot of the children and grandchildren are at the very least on track to be a lot less shallow than what got role-modeled for them by some people who came from previous generations.

Since we're still in the 2020s...

I guess it remains to be seen whether or not the children and grandchildren will discriminate as much against "the different kinds of girls and women" as the paycheck-archy taught some of their parents and grandparents to do.

Me too! All of them should be so fortunate.

"I'm so glad that that grandma definitely wouldn't have discriminated against someone like me."

Go eat your breakfast that somebody grew and made for you.

When you act like light-skinned people who give birth to light-skinned children are more important than all the other kinds of people on the planet, someone is sick of your s***.

This is only for some people. This doesn't apply to everybody.

Your children should be much nicer to different kinds of people than what you have chosen to role model for them.

This is not a message for everyone. It's just a message for some small-minded people.

You should be much nicer to your own descendants then patriarchal white supremacy trained you to be.

I've already met parents who are a lot nicer than you are.

I think you should try to find more of those kinds of parents to hang out with. Try harder to find more people to hang out with who are much more observant than the Patriarchal White Supremacy wanted you to be.

I think the grandchildren deserve nicer grandparents, actually.

They are not going to have your genetics.

"But maybe if you were more positive you would have ended up like me."

Oh a bigoted mom who thinks she's entitled to not give a s*** about anybody because now she's giving birth to a child who will be more favored by the patriarchy than other kinds of unfavored children that you're also raising your own children to discriminate against just as much as you do? Just because that's what you were taught to do?

There should be rehab clinics for people who want to get unaddicted to acting like uncaring bigots.

There should be rehab clinics for those kinds of problems and those kinds of addictions.

There should be 12-step programs for those kinds of problems and for those kinds of addictions.

It's just an idea!

Why not ask Jesus for help? It might help. It would have

Ask the Jesus that you claim to love to help you with your racism and your sexism and your bigotry, so that you can see people who actually exist, and in some cases, they might be living right down the street from you sometimes!

It really could be a soap opera.

All the categories of children and grandchildren that the sexist, racist grandparents didn't give a s*** about, Even though they were living in the supposedly more enlightened 2020s.

Bigoted people need to eat breakfast too, don't they??

They couldn't even train children to repeat their shallow self-absorbed bigotries if an underclass of mostly brown people weren't feeding them.

Compared to what got role-modeled for them.

May the grandchildren act much less entitled to discount certain kinds of girls and women or treat them so badly...

It would be so much nicer for so many different kinds of children, too.

"How to be much less uncaring towards certain kinds of girls and women than the ones who were the most pampered by the patriarchy and by white supremacy were."

They're out there! They really do exist!

Some people really should find the parents who are sensitive enough to act like they care about a much wider variety of humane beings who are living on this planet, and try hang out with them more often.

They really do exist!

GAYLE - "abcdefu (lyric video)"

https://youtube.com/watch?v=cKjbDpAtatk&si=KQeMbAP8fJvzuedb

U know what, I know some got addicted to not caring about certain kinds of people, but I really don't think it's Jesus who wanted them to act that way!

But why would some people still be so uncaring?

Just to fit in with all their unwell friends?

Or to fit in with what got role-modeled for them by their families?

I'm afraid so.

It's not Jesus who wanted you to do that.

"I just discriminate against X types of people because it's easy and that's what Jesus would want me to do."

That's what happens when society evolves.

A bunch of things that got taken for granted as "normal" are not going to look quite so "normal" to repeat in the future because knowledge makes impossible to keep on repeating the same old tired, insensitive, uncaring customs.

I feel I should take this seriously, even though, not long ago, SNL writers made fun of the topic

PPP (perhaps perhaps perhaps)

Perhaps some people could just change a little, and not ruin their lives, and not be mean to themselves, and not bully others and just change a little, for the better, in a healthy way, and maybe it could even be a happy sort of thing.

When I say your mind could be a hotbed of feminism...

I think I might almost be thinking of a dad bringing his kids into a hotel bar one time to look at the sparkling, pretty disco ball that was in their lounge, and when the lady told him "Children aren't allowed in here, sir," the dad said, smiling, "Oh, it's okay. I was just stopping by for a second, so they could look at the disco ball. I would never bring the children into this den of inequity."

Well, I guess that was character-building.

"The first year in the Hausbesorger's apartment was a bad one. I couldn't get used to our new way of life, and I was terribly ashamed of being poor.

I had previously hated school, but now I was anxious to go each morning because it got me away from home. I spent most weekends at the Jensens' apartment. But my happiest escape from the situation at home was going to the Opera everyday.

Often, when I got there, I leaned hard against the heavy side door of the Opera House to close it as quickly as I could, to shut out the world outside, a world I no longer liked.

I didn't think that, except for Uncle Otto, anyone at the Opera knew that I had become as the Viennese call it 'a Hausbesorger's Daughter.' The term had all the unfair implications that a racial slur has in America."

"He was impatient with the messiness and slowness of democracy. He wanted a dictator."

I’m not sure how many Americans attracted to Trump feel this way. It’s consistent with the strength-versus-weakness framework Trump is deploying. Trump may be loathsome, they tell themselves, but at least he’s strong, and we need strength over weakness.

I was born 78 years ago today. At that time, the world had just experienced what can occur when a loathsome person who exudes “strength” takes over a major nation and threatens the world. Do you always have to change your personality to accommodate what other people want?

"A few days ago I was talking with a young conservative who admitted that Trump was an 'odious thug,' in his words, but argued that America and the world had become such a mess that we need an odious thug as president.

'Think of Putin, Xi, Kim, Ali Khamenei, Netanyahu — they’re all odious thugs,' he said. 'We need our own odious thug to stand up to them.'

I said that direct confrontation could lead to more bloodshed, even nuclear war.

He continued: 'We need an odious thug to shake up Washington, stir up all the ossified bureaucracies now destroying America, do all the things no one has had the balls to do.' I winced. He charged: 'We need someone to take control!'

As soon as he uttered those last words, he and I both knew the conversation was over. He had spilled the beans. He was impatient with the messiness and slowness of democracy. He wanted a dictator.

I’m not sure how many Americans attracted to Trump feel this way. It’s consistent with the strength-versus-weakness framework Trump is deploying. Trump may be loathsome, they tell themselves, but at least he’s strong, and we need strength over weakness.

Interesting energy.

"A group of women farmworkers from Homestead, a major agricultural area in South Florida, traveled to Tallahassee on Tuesday to say they want their kids to have opportunities to further their education rather than toil in the fields.

But legislation moving through the state House would roll back child labor restrictions to allow minors to work longer hours. This Thursday, the Florida House will vote on, and most likely approve of, HB 49, which would allow 16- and 17-year-olds to work more than eight hours per day and more than 30 hours a week during the school year.

Employers could give 16- and 17-year-olds fewer breaks under the House proposal.

'What’s best for our kids is that they study to be able to defend themselves in life, so that they don’t have to work in the fields under the sun all the time. We don’t want them to pass out from heat illness or suffer debilitating injuries; we want them to be healthy,' said Sandra Diaz, one of the workers with The Farmworker Association of Florida, Inc.

She continued: 'We want our kids to be more successful than we are. Some of us are not professionals, but we want our kids to be.'”
