Some American people I have met in this lifetime will possibly be more comfortable to be around...

When they start reminding of me something that feels less like "Nice Taliban" energy.

Heart!

Theirs is a pretty happy picture, honestly!

Strangely, it feels like I am momentarily becoming more like a six-year-old who loved the feel of the warm sun and the smell of the very non-vegan bbq cookouts of childhood...

Just having a simple little life today.

Those people who acted (lol!)

like you were a LESSER HUMAN BEING BY DESIGN in this lifetime just had some HUGELY IMPORTANT NEEDS TO FULFILL, would you say?

"LESSER HUMAN BEINGS BY DESIGN"

"This week the Pennsylvania Supreme Court responded to that conclusion: no. On Monday, the court issued a landmark opinion declaring that abortion restrictions do amount to sex-based discrimination and therefore are 'presumptively unconstitutional' under the state constitution’s equal rights amendment. The majority vehemently rejected Dobbs’ history-only analysis, noting that, until recently, 'those interpreting the law' saw women 'as not only having fewer legal rights than men but also as lesser human beings by design.' Justice David Wecht went even further: In an extraordinary concurrence, the justice recounted the historical use of abortion bans to repress women, condemned Alito’s error-ridden analysis, and repudiated the 'antiquated and misogynistic notion that a woman has no say over what happens to her own body.'”

Reasonably.

"With a single ruling, five justices wiped out millions of women’s access to basic health care and handed control over their medical decisions to politicians and judges. It wasn’t just the court’s judgment, though, that relegated women to a lesser place in the constitutional order; it was also the court’s reasoning, which used the centuries long oppression of women to justify an ongoing oppression of women by way of a deprivation of their rights. Justice Samuel Alito’s majority opinion rested largely on the views of dead white men who condoned the rape, beating, and murder of women to maintain female subjugation in every realm of life. And he dismissed his ruling’s ruinous impact on gender equality in a single conclusory paragraph asserting that abortion restrictions could not possibly discriminate against women."

Be Less Demoralizing.

Dehumanizing people because that's what the elders role-modeled for you to do is a trauma response.

Do you really think so?

"All that bigotry that depressed you would feel much worse to you if you were living in another country right now."

Let's say you're living in a body on Earth right now.

Would you say that your values more aligned with the Taliban's or with some other, more feminist kinds of people?

Ha~ha.

Gee, how come?

Although you need not oppress women and girls, the conservative Taliban wants to, anyway.

Exodus, Exodus, Exodus. Were people nicer to women when you were written?

"Some contend that life begins at conception. Hence, abortion at any time is murder. Taken to its logical consequence, 1) a natural miscarriage is murder, and a formerly pregnant woman must be punished; and 2) incarceration of a pregnant woman punishes an innocent person. Yet, the concept that a fetus is a person contradicts teachings in the Old Testament, the core of Abrahamic religions. Exodus 21:22-25 says fatal harm to a woman (pregnant or not) is punished by execution of the offender, whereas fatal harm to a fetus merely results in a fine.

States are passing or contemplating laws banning abortion after six or 15 weeks of gestation, or defining personhood at conception. Are such laws medically sound? To answer this, let’s pose the converse: What are the criteria for death? The consensus among medical and legal professionals is for three concurrent signs: failure of the heart, lungs, and brain.

The rudiments of the heart, lungs, and brain appear during fetal development, but when they function is the critical issue. Though cardiac activity begins at six weeks, lungs are only capable of independent function by 24-28 weeks. Ask parents sitting in neonatal intensive care units while their prematurely birthed offspring teeter on the brink of life. Brain activity is complicated. Let’s take control of opposition of the thumb as an indicator — after all, this action distinguishes humans. Volitional control of the digits develops after birth.

Thus, if the three criteria for death guide our definition of the onset of life, there is no time when abortion should be illegal. Distressing as it may be, that includes rare third-trimester abortions. Such heart-rending decisions must be made by the woman and her physician, not politicians.

Using conception, six or 15 weeks of gestation as when life begins is flawed religiously, ethically, and medically. Abortion bans disrespect the diversity of the composition and religious practice of Americans, contradict medical knowledge, and destroy the separation of the church and government. Gage warned, 'Unless the American people rouse to instant action we shall soon find our government turned into a monarchy, church and state united, and the people no better than serfs.'

We must address abortion rights with knowledge, intelligence and respect."

Did Acceptable Bigotry stop bothering you after you turned 46?

"They were primarily interested in what happened to the mental health of women ages 18 to 45—a window they defined as childbearing age—after the U.S. Supreme Court eliminated the federal constitutional right to abortion in June 2022. They zoomed in on women who lived in 13 states with so-called 'trigger laws,' or preemptive abortion bans designed to snap into effect after Roe v. Wade was overturned.

From June 2022 through the end of the year, these women had larger increases in depression and anxiety symptoms than those in the 37 other states. 'The pattern is abundantly clear,' says Jennifer Payne, professor and vice chair of research in the University of Virginia’s department of psychiatry and neurobehavioral sciences, who was not involved with the study. The finding reinforces that the Supreme Court’s decision 'was a shock,' she says. 'This is not something that most women were expecting.'”

"Students at The Park School of Baltimore were five minutes into a Zoom call with two Swarthmore College professors on Friday when the screen went black. School leadership had shut down the internet.

The video call was an attempt by some students to take matters into their own hands when school leaders abruptly canceled an assembly on the war in Israel and Gaza. Angry with the decision, student government members contacted the professors who’d been scheduled to speak — Sa’ed Atshan, a Palestinian, and Moriel Rothman-Zecher, a Jewish Israeli citizen — and announced in a schoolwide email that the talk was on.

The school’s leadership wasn’t having it."

What Values Are You Communicating Because Of Your Needs?

Mornings are tough lately. It is as if I feel more bothered by the war and by what's been happening to women in my country than others feel. Where's their compassion? I feel grief about human carelessness and coldness. I feel physical symptoms and worried about my health. I feel disappointed by how sad some people are...I am going to get better, and process it all, but how heartbreaking it has been.

"Ajjaq was born and raised in Gretna, Louisiana, across the river from New Orleans. Last summer his parents brought him and his siblings to al-Mazra’a ash-Sharqiya, a village in the West Bank, to help the children reconnect with Palestinian culture.

'How many fathers and mothers have to say goodbye to their children? How many more?' he said during the funeral for his son on Saturday, as reported by the AP.

More to investigate soon...

"Fogleman (2003) examines the theological, demographic, and sociological roots of factional clashes between Moravians and their more traditional German Lutheran and Reformed coreligionists, focusing on mid-18th-century communities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, where these confrontations were frequent and sometimes violent. Moravians' beliefs centered on a feminized Holy Spirit, the right of women to preach, sacralizing the sex act, and metaphorically re-gendering Jesus Christ. These teachings were perceived as threats to more mainstream Christian articles of faith, which stressed the masculinity of the Trinity as the theological cornerstone of the nuclear patriarchal family, the core structure in upholding moral and social order. As Moravian preachers far outnumbered the very few Lutheran or Reformed clergy in the mid-Atlantic colonies during the 1730s–40's and because the Moravians welcomed anyone into their church services, most German Pietists viewed Moravians as more than harmless heretics. Moreover, in the temporal context of a period of intense European immigration to the colonies, the Moravians were seen as challenging the long-term social stability of the colonial community as a whole. Although the Moravians never became a dominant sect in the region, the perception of them as a serious religious and social threat highlights the significant role gendered power issues have played in religious controversy in North America."

3 women before the foot binding started...

"As the practice of foot-binding makes brutally clear, social forces in China then subjugated women. And the impact can be appreciated by considering three of China’s greatest female figures: the politician Shangguan Wan’er (664-710), the poet Li Qing-zhao (1084-c.1151) and the warrior Liang Hongyu (c.1100-1135). All three women lived before foot-binding became the norm. They had distinguished themselves in their own right—not as voices behind the throne, or muses to inspire others, but as self-directed agents. Though none is well known in the West, the women are household names in China."

Life experiences, dreams, words.

"NEXT WEEK, LAWYERS from the Center for Constitutional Rights will test the principles of the judicial branch of the U.S. government as they present arguments in a lawsuit  filed on behalf of Palestinians in Gaza charging that Biden, Blinken, and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin violated U.S. and international law. One of the laws Biden and his underlings are accused of violating was actually sponsored by then-Sen. Biden in 1988, which officially made U.S. law consistent with the obligations under the 1948 Genocide Convention, imposing criminal penalties for committing, assisting, or inciting genocide. The suit charges 'that these U.S. officials have failed to prevent genocide and are aiding and abetting genocide.' Similar to South Africa’s requests at The Hague, the U.S. lawyers are asking a federal court in California to 'order an end to U.S. military and diplomatic support to Israel' while the case is being adjudicated."

'The Biden administration knows what the law is internationally and it knows what the law is domestically,' said Katherine Gallagher, a senior attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights and one of the lead attorneys litigating the suit. In an interview, she pointed to volumes of U.S. statements and legal assertions addressing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, including filings submitted to the International Court of Justice in support of prosecuting Russia, and argued those apply to the war against Gaza. 'When the victims are Palestinian and the perpetrators are Israeli, we see the United States do a 180 and absolutely ignore its obligations to not provide the means by which a genocide is being carried out.'”

Not everyone has had the same life experiences, but people can read.

"There appears to be no Israeli crime grave enough for U.S. lawmakers to consider pausing, let alone stopping, the U.S. role in facilitating the mass killing of Palestinians even to review whether the White House is abiding by U.S. laws. Despite the common Republican characterization of Biden as running a lawless administration, only one Republican, Sen. Rand Paul, voted in favor of a resolution aimed at investigating whether Biden is actually breaking the law."

Because of seeing some other small shoes in a museum yesterday...

"The truth, no matter how unpalatable, is that foot-binding was experienced, perpetuated and administered by women. Though utterly rejected in China now—the last shoe factory making lotus shoes closed in 1999—it survived for a thousand years in part because of women’s emotional investment in the practice. The lotus shoe is a reminder that the history of women did not follow a straight line from misery to progress, nor is it merely a scroll of patriarchy writ large. Shangguan, Li and Liang had few peers in Europe in their own time. But with the advent of foot-binding, their spiritual descendants were in the West. Meanwhile, for the next 1,000 years, Chinese women directed their energies and talents toward achieving a three-inch version of physical perfection."

I had a classmate named Farah when I was very young. She was nice.

That's a better idea.

I seem feel better when I get more focused on truly caring about appreciating a balanced life, not neglecting this human experience by chasing after some shallow external markers of success like the unwell patriarchal society wants a lot of people to do.

Process, process, process.

It's a time to process how shocked your system got by how shallow some people chose to be when they needed to survive a life.

There was this very advanced person on the path

She was working in a gift shop and she was just very laid back and helpful and actually the Opposite of a Stereotypical Salesman.

They're crying?

I guess some people who used to be more open to lots of kinds of human beings got very traumatized and also more narrow-minded long the way and that's why they're acting out such heartbreakingly disappointing, insensitive, selfish behavior patterns now.

Spend more time with nature and feel better.

How to survive systems of oppression and certain humans being absolutely unbearable.

Oh wait, where'd that joke go?

"And that's when X said, 'Your health is very important, and I am here for you.'"

"'Thanks for doing that with the tax money,' doesn't  really seem to change anything for the better."

Or you're gonna get it even worse next time, and don't pretend you don't know what we're saying!

"Don't even bother coming home until you've propped up a needy, abusive Patriarchal Ego in exchange for money."

X needed to make money the old-fashioned way.

Or what would X's parents say?

"X, you just haven't been fitting in the rest like we raised you, and we're very disappointed in your $tatus."

It's an "Our Paychecks Come From Capitalist Patriarchal Sources, Stupid" thing.

Why some people still got that "Just because you tell me it's been very bad for you and your health when humans act desperate for compliments from insecure, abusive, narcissistic people who have been molded by an unhealthy patriarchal society doesn't mean I am gonna change at all because I found ways to work this system that makes me get those hits of dopamine I crave, in addition to the paychecks, of course" energy.

She recently posted about how some of her YouTube followers sent her dozens of Bibles and forty something baby blankets after she announced her pregnancy, and she was overwhelmed by all the "gifts."

I am not surprised because "traditional wife / mom" values are strongly inculcated in certain parts of American culture, but I guess there are reasons she took that post down...So maybe all those Bibles and blankets will just keep arriving anyway, and eventually they will get donated to others?

So happy I got to enjoy nature today! Now I'm online again. And I was thinking, in regards to student loans...

If someone like me, who did part time public service work for many years, and was in school part time, because that was what seemed best for my health situation, also volunteered sometimes, and was able to volunteer in exchange for some student loan forgiveness, why couldn't that be possible in this world?

It was good to see them.

I saw happy birds at a bird feeder for the first time.

So happy to have met a soul searcher.

When you were a narcissist and I avoided you like a schmoozing, soul-destroying suck-up, that was way less fun.

WHAT.

"Violence feels bad. Also a great reason to support More Violence."

Who doesn't love ghost babies?

Their freedom from the trauma of being shackled to the Patriarchal Norms is absolutely so precious and adorable.

Maybe some people will start to wake up more quickly.

Actually, the number of willful people from all kinds of backgrounds who in the past might have  subscribed to the "I have been traumatized, so now I am entitled to abuse and gaslight others" mentality might find that it is a way of dealing with their traumas that gets less and less attractive to them.

Some of those who were addicted to that way of dealing with their own problems might already be growing and finding much better choices...

Traumatized by what they inherited from a capitalist patriarchal society...

Means that some people you could have gotten along with chose to participate in smaller minded ways of being alive on this planet. Their fears led them to places where they turned themselves into abusive, insecure narcissists. Fools.

Pray.

I need to pray for higher sources to help me feel better and more healed.

There are some people who had potential to be better, but their addictions to self-absorption, insensitivity and gaslighting, and their will to just "go along" with others for very shallow, insecure reasons feels really not okay, and really not healthy, and I feel I need to heal from that trauma.

They Are Traumatized?

I Don't Know Why. Some People. Chose Trump. Some Chose. Netanyahu.

Maybe some of their ancestors weren't so into doing that...

The way some people clearly need to make themselves blend in with people who are being needlessly sexist and chauvinistic and untrustworthy in order to feel they have achieved anything in life is actually oppressively disappointing.

It isn't hard to do...

Imagine an art community that can be more.

Humans really need to get better.

People being just as narcissistic as the Nazis were is a painful phenomenon. I doubt the Trump voters are any worse at being addicted to obliviousness.

Wine Office versus Coffee Office.

Which one is better for your blood sugar and hormone make up? Vegan or Pescatarian or Carnivore.

Weirdly enough.

Do you know that some people have genetics that make them feel hungover and sick for hours after one cup of non-decaf cold brew (coffee) but relaxed and calm after one glass of wine?

If you have an internship in a certain kind of body

Which means part time paid public service work was not counted like full time paid public service work, should you use your unpaid internship in a certain kind of body to assist humanity somehow, anyway, and...um...

I feel very confused about the student loan situation.

If I am on the SAVE plan and have had loans since the late 90s and also since 2005, and if sometimes I paid but sometimes I was in school half time and didn't, and if I am paying regularly now, how do I get the information about eligibility for forgiveness based on number of student loan payments?

I do not know...

Expect Better.

I think that acting like girls' and women's experiences are not that important just because that's what the Patriarchal Culture wanted you to do is too mean for a society to be healthy.

Different Choices are Possible.

When people get mean just because that's what got role-modeled for them, and then they act like they want you to go along with whatever their mean coping mechanism programs are, you can find better options.

Did God create humans to be so mean to each other? Of course not.

"The couple decided they would not be getting pregnant again -- Gonzales had a surgical sterilization.

'Why on earth would she wanna risk that again? Because if -- if we were to have another child with a fetal abnormality, then we would have to go through all of this again. She barely got through it the first time,' Blackmon said.

'I couldn't be back there to support her in any way and she crumbled. And she could not take that again, nor could I, for that matter. I could never see my wife like that again,' Blackmon said in a group interview with the eight other men.

'And it wasn't until today that I spoke with all these men, 'cause men typically like to suppress things. We try to be strong for our women. But I didn't realize how much it affected me until today, and how much of it comes surging back to me,' Blackmon said."
