Today I had an interesting conversation with a young mom who told me about her daughter and a lot of their experiences. She gave me a lot of good restaurant recs too (mostly Peruvian ones.) The new thing I learned was there is a type of job called "corredores" (?) Runners. It is when people listen on the radio for car accidents, and then they arrive at the scene, bring the one involved in an accident to a lawyer, and get some kind of payment from the lawyer for doing that.

I had the opportunity to order cajun crawfish recently. I was flummoxed when my dish came out. "Your plate has eyes."
